A fun and imaginative multi-arts workshop that aims to educate on the importance of environmental ecology and recycling.
All the activities are intertwined with an interactive invented magical story that tells us of the journey of the forest people. The participants are involved in all aspects of making the story come to life. They design and make their own tribal costumes, they create and perform funky rhythmic music on junk instruments, and they even contribute to the set design of the multi-rhythmic performance finale.
By participating in and experiencing musical, rhythmic and dramatic storytelling, the children learn about the importance of looking after their own environment. |
