A colourful music workshop that creatively experiments with simple rhythmic and melodic composition and performance.
Boomwhackers are brightly coloured plastic tubes of varying sizes that make wonderful and unusual percussion instruments. In this workshop, participants take part in fun percussive games and learn simple rhythms and melodies that overlap. They work together in composing and creating a funky rhythmic and melodic piece that can be performed at the end of the session.
By musically exploring and playing boomwhackers, the children learn the skills and understand the importance of teamwork. |
