A fun and fulfilling workshop that focuses on vocal confidence building.
The aim of this workshop is to provide an alternative singing and music making experience. Starting off with simple vocal warm up games aimed at freeing up the voice, participants are encouraged to join in and feel inspired to sing. They work towards learning a selection of simple African songs and harmonies and add interest to these songs with yodels, movements and rhythmic hand clapping.
By working together and experiencing vocal performance, participants learn to enjoy and understand the benefits of group song. They create a performance that they can be proud of.
