A colourful and creative multi-arts holiday workshop in north Leeds.
“Bugs and rainforest beasties busied themselves creatively all day.”
The Rhythm Kitchen’s holiday project for 2005 was the Rhythm, Rhyme and Colour Explosion workshop. This was a 1-day multi-arts project for 4 – 10 year olds. During the day everyone busied themselves with various creative activities including Junk drumming classes, rainforest bug and costume making, and movement and soundscaping games.
The day’s activities concluded with a brilliant colourful and rhythmic performance. Each child put on their costumes, had their faces painted and turned into their own rainforest creature. Parents and friends came along to hear the Rhythmic Rainforest Story and see what the children had done.
